Kindergarten Kulunnguaq is seeking a qualified deputy head for a kindergarten with 60 children aged 3-6 years. We are looking for a responsible, outgoing, and stable person who can establish good contact with parents and colleagues. Proficiency in Greenlandic is an advantage. Employment is subject to a 3-month probation period and requires a satisfactory criminal and child certificate.
Information about Kulunnguaq.
The kindergarten Kulunnguaq is designed for 60 children aged 3-6 years, there are 2 rooms, and there are a total of 10 employees including kitchen staff and cleaning.
For children who have not started school, work is being done in accordance with Inatsisartut Act No. 62 of November 20, 2023.

Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and NPK or another relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Criminal record and child certificate:
This position is covered by the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police, as well as the criminal certificate from the police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Housing:
A staff housing option can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the properties of the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality in Greenland. If a permanent staff residence cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to a vacant residence will be offered a temporary vacant residence, for which A-tax will be paid for benefits in kind according to applicable legislation.
OR The start date is dependent on when a staff housing is available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses for personal belongings are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
A staff housing must be vacated upon the termination of the employment relationship.
