Municipality of Qeqertalik is seeking a skilled operations manager and land case handler for Inoqarfik Qasigiannguit. Responsibilities include daily operations, snow removal, graveling, and oversight of municipal buildings. Requirements include experience in office, technical, or construction fields, as well as strong collaboration skills and IT competencies.
The Municipality of Qeqertalik is seeking a skilled and dedicated operations manager / land case handler for employment at Inoqarfik Qasigiannguit starting from April 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
As an operations manager & area case handlers, you will be part of a team with the Inoqarfik leader, office staff, and the various managers associated with the city's operations.
Upcoming operations manager/land case handler, works in the municipal office. The nearest supervisor will be the Leader of Inoqarfik.
Work tasks / areas of responsibility

Daily operational tasks such as:
-
snow removal
-
graveling
-
chimney sweeping
-
Pontoon responsible
-
Day and night renovation
-
and participation in tenders when necessary
-
off the board
-
of the tourist cabin
-
of the boat workshop
-
of receiving station and contractor site
-
with the municipality's buildings/rental properties and leased housing
-make orientation for the municipal council and prepare all sorts of case presentations for the municipal council.
Requirements and qualifications:

within office, technology, construction or similar
-
to work purposefully and structured
-
workflow and sense of responsibility as well as good service attitude
-
collaboration skills and ability to work broadly within the organization
-
and a positive approach to the development of Inoqarfik
-
of both Greenlandic and Danish in speech and writing

from public administration or construction/technical business
-
to conditions and relevant laws in Greenland

to follow up on tasks and collaborate effectively

IT skills
-
problems with alcohol or drugs
Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions are determined in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant organization.
No housing is provided in connection with the position.
Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
