Club Iluliarsuaq in Kangaatsiaq is seeking a permanent monthly-paid assistant manager for a 40-hour workweek starting June 1, 2026. The job involves responsibility for activities for children and youth, collaboration with the club leader and club council, as well as responsibility for the Junior Club and evening club. Experience with youth and social pedagogy is an advantage.
The club in Kangaatsiaq "Iluliarsuaq" is a leisure club for children and young people, and we are looking for a permanently monthly-salaried deputy manager, with working hours of 40 hours a week starting from June 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
The nearest supervisor for the deputy manager is the leader in the Timi Tarni Club "Iluliarsuaq."
Main tasks:
Ensure activities for children and young people, possible arrangement of transportation.
Exciting workplace.

Collaboration with the club leader and club council.
Collaboration in various areas within Timi Tarnis work fields.
·Be responsible for the Junior Club and the evening club.
·Be responsible for the manager's tasks when the manager is not at work.
Requirements for you / qualifications:
It can be beneficial if you are educated in social pedagogy or have experience in it.
You have experience working with young people.
You can work during the day and at night.
You can work well and maximally for children and young people.
You must be able to keep up and be innovative.
You must be cooperative – and able to be a leader.
You are fresh.
You must be stable and responsible.
You should be good at communicating and willing to collaborate.
Offer for training for the position
Training will be provided for the position.
You must be ready to collaborate with work areas in Timi Tarni.
You have an understanding of culture and people when considering having many balls in the air.
Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Naalakkersuisut and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement. No accommodation can be provided for the position, and there is a probation period of 3 months for the position.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
