About the school:
You will be part of a public school with approximately 1,000 students spread across grades 1-10, as well as 9 special classes. Atuarfik Inussuk is a new school in growth and development, where we focus on 21st-century skills, project-based learning, teamwork, quality development, and strengthening the academic abilities of the students.
We focus on promoting creativity, critical thinking, digital literacy, collaboration, and communication among students. The learning environment should strengthen professionalism, well-being, and support diverse ways of learning – based on each student's needs and motivation.
The school currently has 92 employees divided into four departments: youngest, middle, and oldest grades, as well as the special needs area. The school's management team consists of a principal, three vice principals, and four grade leaders.

The position as Resource Person:
As a Resource Person, you will play a central role in supporting students' well-being and ensuring close collaboration between school, home, and external partners. You will be an important sparring partner for the school's management, teachers, and educators, and contribute to strengthening preventive and interdisciplinary work.
Your primary tasks:

Guidance and support for students in vulnerable situations

Collaboration with parents and external agencies such as the social administration, PPR, etc.

Preventive measures to strengthen well-being and inclusion

Participation in network meetings and interdisciplinary teams

Contribute to the school's work with well-being policies and action plans.
We expect that you:

Is educated as a social worker, health professional, psychotherapist, family counselor, or other relevant education and has experience with children, youth, and families.

Has knowledge of well-being, children's development, and collaboration with disadvantaged families.

Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal record and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
A staff housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary accommodation, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid in accordance with the above. The start date depends on when a staff housing is available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
