The Municipality of Qeqertalik, Aasiaat, is seeking 1 social educator sous-chef to start on July 1, 2026, or by further agreement, for the nursery Tikiusaaq, which caters to children aged 0-3 years. The nursery Tikiusaaq has four rooms.
Generally for the Tikiusaaq Nursery:
The position is a full-time job, 40 hours a week.
The administration for the Tikiusaaq daycare is under INUIT.

Be responsible, have an overview, and the ability to empathize and adapt.
·Able to handle stressful situations, be flexible, cooperative, approachable, and stable.
·Good physical and mental health and an open and cheerful mood.
Be prepared to work based on the objectives and action plans of the daycare institution.
A person who can take over the leader's responsibilities when the leader is absent.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory public criminal record and child certificate, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the consent of the applicant being recommended for employment.
There is no housing available.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
