Information about the housing community
The housing community Qajaasat is divided into 3 departments, for people with severe developmental disabilities, accommodating 9 mentally ill individuals, with a staffed workplace around the clock, with a standard of 20.
Conditions in the housing community:
The position in the residential community for disabled individuals is a full-time position with shift work that involves 40 hours of work per week. The residential community is a competence-giving accommodation that encourages residents in their daily lives to obtain their own housing. The residential community falls under the area of INUIT.
Requirements for application:
You must be trained as a social helper.
·Is responsible, has an overview, and has adaptability.
Can remain calm under stressful situations, has a smooth workflow, possesses good collaboration skills, and is stable.
·Physically and mentally healthy as well as open and happy.
Can work according to the goals and action plans of the disabled.
Has the will to develop the workplace
Salary and employment conditions:
Employment and salary conditions will be in accordance with applicable agreements.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.
