Support Person or Unskilled Employee

We are looking for a support person or an unskilled worker as soon as possible for adults with physical and mental disabilities living in Nuuk. The position is 40 hours a week, and the working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

Procedure:

Work is done from citizen to citizen at different times, and the citizens' purposes are addressed in the given situation.

The way is paved for citizens' everyday lives by supporting them in their daily routines.

The work is being done according to the action plan.

Citizens receive support so they can have a normal everyday life.

The target audience:

We work with adults who have physical and mental disabilities and have their own homes; we go to their homes to work for them.

The tasks:

One works with the citizen at the center.

·Create an action plan together with the citizen.

Take the citizen to various public places, such as the hospital, etc.

We imagine that you:

Is engaged and has a positive outlook on life.

·That you can work responsibly and independently

·Must be positive and can be patient

• Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We have interdisciplinary collaboration with:

·The district psychiatry, Queen Ingrid's hospital, the social administration, physiotherapy, and the correctional service.

It will be an advantage if you can speak and understand Greenlandic and Danish, but it is not a requirement.

Criminal record:

This position is covered by the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Løn- og ansættelsesforhold sker i henhold til gældende overenskomst mellem Grønlands Selvstyre, i henhold til den på tiltrædelsestidspunktet gældende aftale/overenskomst mellem Grønlands Selvstyre og pågældende forhandlingsberettigede organisation.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
