GUX Sisimiut is looking for teachers for several subjects in the Greenlandic subject range (physical education, psychology, mathematics, and Danish). The formal requirement for employment is that you hold a master's degree in arts/science or engineering, the latter with 2-3 years of professional experience.

GUX Sisimiut consists of the GUX high school located in Sisimiut, access courses, eGUX with virtual teaching, and the North Atlantic High School Class (NGK), which rotates between Denmark, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland.
GUX Sisimiut is also part of the educational organization KTI, which includes GUX, the Resource School, the Iron and Metal School, the Construction and Building School, the Language Center, DTU, and Teknika.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned for the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets such as dogs or cats in staff or temporary housing.
