Teacher

There are norms for 8 teachers.

The classes have students of different age groups, distributed across 4 classes. There are two in the special class. There are students from 1st grade to 10th grade. There are 46 students at Kangaamiut Atuarfia.

We need a teacher who can teach all subjects at Kangaamiut Atuarfiat.

The renovation of the school has begun.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of personal belongings, are in accordance with the agreements and collective agreements in force at any given time between the Government of Greenland and IMAK (see www.imak.gl). Fixed-term employment will be for three years with the possibility of extension for one year at a time.

A residence can be allocated.

A staff housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary accommodation, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid in accordance with the above.

Child certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate and the criminal record.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal record from the police.
