Two therapists are sought for Allorfik Kujalleq starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement. Treatment at Allorfik is based on motivational interviewing and a cognitive behavioral therapy model. Allorfik Kujalleq offers treatment for alcohol, cannabis, and gambling addiction. Travel to villages and preventive tasks may occur.
Two practitioners are sought for Allorfik Kujalleq in Qaqortoq, starting on June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
We expect you to have a medium-length higher education, such as a teacher, educator, or social worker.
The treatment at Allorfik is based on motivational interviewing and a cognitive behavioral therapy treatment model. If you are not trained in the field, Allorfik will provide your training.
In addition, it is an advantage if you have a supervision, psychotherapist education or similar advanced training.
Allorfik Kujalleq offers citizens in Municipality Kujalleq treatment for alcohol, hash, and gambling addiction, and therefore there may be trips to the settlements, preventive tasks, as well as involvement in prevention in the city in collaboration with the municipality on projects. Currently, there are 3 therapists at the center, and one of the therapists is the acting group leader.
Allorfiks local centers are organizationally under the Knowledge Center for Addiction in Nuuk, which is responsible for the national effort against issues related to substances and gambling. You will have a significant influence on the organization of your work in collaboration with the Knowledge Center for Addiction, which also offers supervision to you.

Treat and guide citizens with problems related to alcohol, cannabis, and gambling.

Aftercare and educate relatives

Conduct mapping interviews and report to the national addiction database.

Collaboration with the municipality regarding citizens' aftercare and issues that hinder treatment.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned to the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller co-housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets, such as dogs or cats, in staff or temporary housing.
