At Angerlarsimaffik Pilutaq in Sisimiut, we are looking for skilled and unskilled employees who are passionate about relationship work and who want to create stability, presence, and good experiences in everyday life for our girls aged 11 to 17.
About us
Pilutaq is a nationwide residential institution under the Department of Social Affairs, Family and Justice.
Our girls come from all over Greenland and have experienced various forms of neglect. Therefore, they need adults who can provide both structure, care, and warmth – and who are willing to stand firm, even when it is difficult.
Our educational approach is cognitive, resource-oriented, and appreciative, and we work in an environment where both professionalism and humanity are at the center.
We emphasize that the girls have a daily life that resembles a home – with schooling, leisure interests, and a social life in the city.
On weekends and holidays, we go on cabin trips, hunting and skiing trips, or colonies in the villages, where community and nature play an important role in working with the girls.

To engage in close interdisciplinary collaboration with educators, management, and other staff.

To act as a contact person for one of the residents.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
