GUX Qaqortoq is seeking instructors in subjects such as Greenlandic, Danish, Mathematics, Cultural Studies, and commercial subjects. You will teach at GUX Qaqortoq, part of Campus Kujalleq. We are looking for an instructor with a master's degree who is loyal, appreciative, and has teaching experience. Start date from August 1, 2026.
Instructors at GUX Qaqortoq GUX Qaqortoq is seeking instructors in the following subjects: Greenlandic, Danish, Mathematics, Cultural subjects, and the following commercial subjects: Business Economics, Business Case, Marketing, IT, Business Law & Innovation.
GUX Qaqortoq is part of Campus Kujalleq, where we have both a vocational education and training (EUD) and a high school department. As a starting point, you will only teach at GUX Qaqortoq.
The appointment will take effect from August 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.
As a starting point, it is a permanent position. In certain cases, however, a fixed-term employment may also be considered, with the possibility of extension.
At GUX, we have good physical facilities. If you are a teacher who thrives in a high school where teachers and other staff are very dependent on working together to make everyday life function as well as possible, you are the one we are looking for.

The majority of GUX students at Campus Kujalleq live in dormitories. You can expect a close relationship with the students, and there will sometimes be a need for you to take on other minor tasks alongside teaching.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement of employment for negotiating organizations.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned to the position. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or a residence owned by the municipality or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why accommodation may be temporary, including in smaller co-housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets, such as dogs or cats, in staff or temporary housing.
