Greenland's Self-Government is seeking a consultant for Najugaqarfik Elisebannguaq, a residential institution for the disabled. Consultant for Najugaqarfik Elisebannguaq
The position is desired to be filled by August 1, 2026, or by agreement.
The residential institution Elisebannguaq is a 24-hour facility with space for 16. The target group is disabled individuals from all over Greenland.
The consultant's primary tasks for the institution:

Management of the institution's accounting functions in collaboration with the management, including budgeting and budget monitoring.

Reporting of employees' 14-day and monthly salary

Follow-up on the residents' money
-
Travel expense settlement system Acubiz
-
The Blanket Portal/Recommendation for Employment/Termination
-
Management of daily operations and maintenance of IT networks, IT software, as well as support tasks for the institution's staff and residents.

Distribution of incoming mail and management of the institution's telephone switchboard

Archiving tasks
-
Ad hoc tasks
-
Miscellaneous secretarial tasks for management.
The consultant reports to the principal/deputy head.

Has good collaboration skills in relation to colleagues, residents, and external partners.

Has experience from similar work

Is an experienced PC user and good at both Iris/Management Information, Word, and Excel.

Has a solid overview, is service-minded, and is good at working independently.

Is good at expressing yourself in writing.

A staff housing is attached to the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the housing can be retained in the new position.
