At Angerlarsimaffik Pilutaq in Sisimiut, we are looking for an employee who can sail, drive a snowmobile, and help out in the house – and who thrives in an environment where each day brings new tasks and meaningful experiences.

Pilutaq is a nationwide residential institution under the Department of Social Affairs, Family, and Justice.
Here live girls aged 11–17, who come from all over Greenland. Many have experienced neglect earlier in life and need adults who can create safety, stability, and presence.

Your tasks Sail in connection with colonies, project trips, and transport tasks

Drive snowmobiles and assist with practical tasks during winter periods.

Maintain and care for equipment, boats, and snowmobiles.

Participate in activities and trips together with girls and colleagues when needed.

Help at the residential institution, for example with practical tasks or spending time with the girls when there are no sailing or transport tasks.

We imagine that you have a competency certificate with a minimum of 12 pax.

Has experience with sailing and snowmobiling.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned to the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller co-housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets, such as dogs or cats, in staff or temporary housing.
