Greenland's Self-Government is seeking a procurement lawyer with an interest in economics for the Office of Strategic Procurement. You will work with strategic purchasing, tenders, and contract management. Procurement lawyer with an interest in economics
Are you interested in working with strategic procurement for the Government of Greenland, including the execution of purchases and tenders? The office is part of the Department for Facility Management & Strategic Procurement in the Agency for Economy and Personnel. Your work tasks

We are looking for an employee who can work with the following tasks, among others: Preparation and execution of tenders from idea to selection of supplier.

Preparation, conclusion, implementation, and management of contracts
-
Supplier negotiations
-
Cross-functional collaboration and coordination in the procurement area, including project management related to larger tenders.

Advising the entities in the Self-Government in connection with procurement and contracting.

Participation/lead on development projects related to inflow, including purchasing policies, system support, training, etc.

Optimization of the Self-Government's procurement processes

Follow-up on agreements, compliance, and other relevant analyses

Guidance on rules for employee housing

Conclusion of lease agreements for real estate

Collaboration with the Office for Building & Service regarding contract conclusion and calculation tasks within building operation and maintenance.
Your education and experience
We are looking for someone with a master's degree in law and/or an economic background (e.g. cand.merc.jur, cand.jur, cand.merc, cand.scient.pol. or another relevant master's degree) and preferably experience with public procurement.
Candidates with a different educational background combined with relevant experience, as well as recent graduates with the right profile, will also be considered.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon the termination of the employment relationship.
