Somatic Home Nurse

Are you a healthcare assistant and would you like to work with us and make a difference for the patients? – We are looking for a permanent employee for the position of somatic home nurse at Qaqortoq Regional Hospital.

We are looking for someone who can ensure a good patient journey in collaboration with interdisciplinary professional groups in the organization.

The job in home care is both challenging and independent. The tasks are diverse but focus on elderly care and support.

The position is 40 hours/week.

Your tasks:

• Home visit
• Guidance on health promotion and prevention
• Wound care, catheter care, and stoma care, blood pressure monitoring
• Medication dosing and dispensing
• In periods of palliative care.
• Collaboration with the municipality.

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
