We are looking for an administrative coordinator for the Landstandplejens Administration in Nuuk. You will ensure structure, operational reliability, and administrative support for management. Tasks include document structuring, HR support, meeting planning, and bookkeeping. Experience in administration and knowledge of HR processes is an advantage. Bilingualism (Greenlandic/Danish) is desired.

Located in the Landstandpleje Administration in Nuuk.

We are looking for an administrative coordinator for our small team in the secretariat to ensure structure, operational reliability, and administrative support for the management of the Dental Health Service. The position will relieve the chief dentist and dental professional consultant of administrative, coordinating, and routine tasks.

  • Ensure effective communication between administration and districts.
  • Support the implementation of strategic initiatives with practical coordination.
  • Contribute to process optimization and structure in workflows.

Ad hoc tasks

  • Support the chief dentist and dental consultant with various administrative tasks.
  • Help with campaigns and national initiatives (e.g., toothbrush day).

We are looking for you who:

Professionally:

  • Experience with administration, operations, and coordination.
  • Knowledge of HR processes.
  • Familiarity with the Office suite and digital archive systems.
  • Administrative education or office education (e.g., professional bachelor's degree in administration, business economist, office assistant with good experience, or other relevant education).
  • Experience from the Greenlandic healthcare system's organization or public administration is an advantage but not a requirement.

Personally:

  • Systematic and structured.
  • Good abilities for overview and follow-up
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bilingualism (Greenlandic/Danish) in speech and writing is an advantage.

About us:

We are a team in the Dental Health Administration consisting of the chief dentist and a dental consultant, located in offices at DIH, Nuuk, and we are missing a third person. We are a nationwide unit and handle many different tasks. Therefore, we have contact with dental clinic districts along the entire coast and also collaborate with other units in the healthcare system.

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
