We are looking for specialists in general medicine for permanent positions or temporary contracts of at least 3 months – preferably longer.
Queen Ingrid's Health Center (DIS), in Nuuk, is physically located in connection with the national hospital, Queen Ingrid's Hospital (DIH), in Nuuk.
The health center is a modern health center that provides primary health care for the Nuuk health district and associated villages. We have 10 specialists in general medicine and 13 younger doctors in the clinic.
The health center resembles a Danish general practice in everyday life; in addition, we have a duty doctor and emergency room function available around the clock, which is alternately handled by doctors employed at the health center.
This means that almost all types of patients are received and treated or referred to DIH.
We guarantee challenging workdays that will be both professionally and personally developing and demanding. A prerequisite for a good workday is your ability to collaborate with different professional groups.
Training of younger doctors.
We are approved in collaboration with DIH for the training of specialists in general medicine.
The medical postgraduate training in Greenland is organized in collaboration with the postgraduate education secretariat in Region South, Vejle.
