Do you want to help further develop and shape the HR efforts in the Greenlandic Health Service? As a professional leader, you will be part of the Personnel team with 7 colleagues. You will advise and support managers in HR-related matters and drive the HR area to support the strategic goals of the health service.
Would you like to help further develop and shape the HR efforts in the Greenlandic healthcare system, where we work together and where your contribution can be felt throughout the organization? Are you an experienced HR profile who can combine professional strength with presence, analytical insight, and decisiveness – and do you want to help equip both management and employees in the best possible way?
A central role close in a complex organization
As a professional leader, you will be part of the Personnel team with 7 colleagues. In close collaboration with our HR manager, you will be responsible for further developing and driving the HR area to support the healthcare sector's strategic goals and create a healthy, professional, and trusting culture.
Your tasks will include:
-
Be the professional leader of the Personnel Team
-
Advise and support managers and leaders in all HR-related matters.
-
Conduct conversations and case processing within personnel law and administration.
-
Develop and implement HR policies, concepts, and decision proposals for the management.
-
Drive organizational and leadership development initiatives
-
Lead and coordinate development-oriented HR projects
At the start of your job, your most important task will be to be curious and attentive. You should take the time to get to know the healthcare system, the culture, and your colleagues – because when you get a good grasp of the place's pulse and community, you give yourself the best conditions for succeeding in the role.
Based on a strong team culture, you advise and support management in personnel matters, take responsibility for updating and clarifying job descriptions, and ensure that personnel and salary policies align with the overall strategy of the healthcare system. You follow up on results, drive the process of updating the healthcare system's emergency plans, and actively contribute to the work environment organization.
In short: You will have the opportunity to make a concrete difference – but first and foremost as part of the community.
We hope to hear from you, who has:
-
Solid experience as an HR professional, preferably with broad HR experience, minimum 6 years.
-
A relevant master's degree – for example in HR, law, psychology, or organization
-
Strategic understanding and ability to translate strategy into concrete HR initiatives
-
You thrive in the role of professional leader, where you set direction, ensure quality in the work, and support both leaders and employees with competent advice in personnel matters and organizational development. You create trust and psychological safety in your collaboration and communicate clearly and professionally.
