The Government of Greenland is seeking a consultant for the Payroll Technical Office. The position involves responsibility for the payroll system, data security, and support. We are looking for a structured person with technical understanding and knowledge of agreements. Proficiency in Greenlandic is an advantage. About the workplace
The payroll office currently consists of an office manager and two consultants, where all employees report to the Head of Personnel and Negotiations.
The payroll technical office is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of the Greenland Self-Government's payroll system, which is also used by the municipalities.
The Payroll Technical Office is also responsible for data security on the server and for creating and continuously updating collective agreement tables to ensure they correspond to the applicable agreements. Furthermore, the Payroll Technical Department is responsible for support, training, and courses for the payroll offices in the Self-Government and municipalities.
Along with the payroll system, the programs My Perspective and Webtas are included. The combined programs are managed by the Ministry of Finance and the Agency for Modernization.

It is an absolute advantage if you speak Greenlandic and have knowledge of Greenlandic societal conditions and culture.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned for the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets such as dogs or cats in staff or temporary housing.
