The Government of Greenland is seeking a special consultant for the Danish Energy Agency to ensure development in the radio and telecommunications sector. Responsibilities include processing frequency applications and overseeing telecommunications and frequency legislation. We are looking for a strong professional colleague with a technical education and experience in case processing.

The Danish Telecommunications Agency is looking for a special consultant who can help ensure development in the telecommunications and radio sector.
The Danish Energy Agency contributes with professional knowledge, ensures effective frequency utilization, and supports emergency and rescue operations at sea and on land.
Job description

The tasks will include processing applications for frequencies for, among other things, the following types of permits: Aeronautical services
-
Broadcast services
-
Permanent services
-
Land mobile services
-
Maritime services
In addition, you will participate in solving a number of the Agency's other tasks, including being an examiner during radio tests, as well as conducting oversight of compliance with telecommunications and frequency legislation throughout the country.
The censor task in connection with the holding of radio tests requires that you have a GOC certificate. If you do not have one already, we will ensure that you get a course.
The frequency range has not been acquired, which is why the administration of the area is conducted in close collaboration with the telecommunications office in the Danish Agency for Digitization.
We are therefore looking for a professionally strong colleague who can ensure efficient and correct case handling.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
