Avannaata Municipality is seeking a committed and results-oriented fundraiser for employment starting May 1, 2026.
About the position
As a Fundraiser for Avannaata Municipality, you report to the head of the secretariat in the Management Office and you will be physically located at the town hall in Ilulissat.
As a fundraiser, your main task will be to support the continued growth and development of Avannaata Municipality.
You should, with a focus on Avannaata Municipality's vision and strategy, help to secure additional funding and create new financing opportunities that support our mission of investments.
Area of responsibility
As a fundraiser, it is your task to seek funding for Avannaata Municipality's projects, including construction and infrastructure projects, where urban development is being worked on, as well as the renewal of existing buildings and other projects and goals.
This is a newly created position, and you will therefore be the driving force in fundraising, giving you an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping, influencing, and driving the function.
Background and experience
Your educational background can be multifaceted.
As this is a newly created position, it would be an advantage if you come from a similar role or have previous experience where the focus has primarily been on fundraising.
You are expected to have strong financial skills, where you can effortlessly contribute to procedures and have financial oversight in connection with project management.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and relevant organizations that have the right to enter into agreements in the area.

Criminal record
This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the Municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the Municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
