Your new workplace
A position as an accounting and administrative employee at the Greenland Court's administration department is available for immediate occupancy. In the administration department, you will be part of a team consisting of an accounting and administrative employee, a group leader, an administration manager, an administrative secretary, an IT employee, and a court officer.
Your primary tasks and our values
The tasks in the administration department primarily consist of accounting and bookkeeping work combined with processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. In addition, we are responsible for the administration of employee housing, moving of personal belongings, and arrival and departure trips.
We are also a service center for all units at the Courts in Greenland as well as external users of the court regarding administrative and accounting matters.

It is a requirement that you have experience with office work. You may currently be working in the public sector, in a private company, or be a recent graduate with a relevant degree.
It is an advantage if you have an office education - TNI or similar.
You have a good command of IT.

The working languages are Greenlandic and Danish, so it will be an advantage if you are proficient in both languages.

Employment process
Interviews are conducted continuously, and we hire when we have found the right profile.
For applicants who are not residing in Nuuk, there will be an opportunity to participate in a job interview via video conference.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible or by agreement.
Salary and employment conditions
Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with SIK or HK/Stat.
The position is full-time (40 hours per week).
If you come from a different city than Nuuk, we will cover the travel expenses and moving costs according to the provisions of the agreement.
We can also help with searching for staff housing through INI or Illuut. Rent, utilities, etc. are covered according to applicable rules.
We will, in connection with the hiring process and with your consent, obtain a transcript of the criminal record.
Holiday free trip via SIK's Holiday Fund
The employee is entitled to a holiday travel allowance for the entire household (spouse/partner and children living at home under 18 years) every other year after 2 years of employment, according to SIK's collective agreement.
The holiday leave trip must be applied for through SIK's holiday fund.
