In HR Development (HRU) in the Chairman's Department, we work with well-being, leadership coaching, and development across the entire central administration of the Government of Greenland.

We are looking for a work environment consultant who can help translate knowledge into actions that work in practice – and who thrives in a role where results are created together with others.

Your role

Your role is cross-functional and largely collaboration-driven. As part of the HR team, you work closely with managers and the working environment in the Government of Greenland, including in CASU – Central Working Environment and Collaboration Committee and LASU – Local Working Environment and Collaboration Committee, as well as with colleagues across the Self-Government.

Your task is to create coherence and progress – not by working alone, but by gathering knowledge, coordinating efforts, and making them thrive within the organization.

  • You work with classic workplace environment tasks such as supporting the workplace environment and collaboration organization (CASU and LASU).
  • APV and well-being initiatives
  • facilitation of dialogues and processes – often in collaboration with HRU,

You contribute to ensuring that processes, meetings, and follow-ups work, and that the work is cohesive across the organization. At the same time, you work in a politically governed organization where initiatives must be coordinated, anchored, and often approved before they are initiated. This requires you to navigate multiple perspectives and build support. It is an advantage if you speak Greenlandic, but it is not a requirement.

  • Your tasks Work with risk assessments and well-being initiatives from planning to follow-up
  • Advise and support leaders in their responsibility for the work environment.
  • Facilitate dialogues and processes based on the organization's needs.
  • Support the work of the working environment and collaboration committees (CASU/LASU)
  • Contribute to the coherence between the work environment and other HR initiatives.

Who are you?

You are professionally grounded and thrive on collaboration and building relationships. At the same time, you work in a structured manner and take responsibility for follow-up. You have the patience to endure the long haul and make things work in practice.

Therefore, you should apply.

You will have a role with a wide range of contacts and the opportunity to make a real difference for the working environment and well-being in the Government of Greenland.

You will be part of HRU, where we work closely together and support each other – and where we develop solutions that work in the organization.
