Angerlarsimaffik Isikkivik:

Isikkivik is located in Sisimiut. There is space for 13 children/youths aged 8 to 17 years, with the possibility of extension until they turn 23. Isikkivik is divided into three departments, a closed and an open department that are in the same building and work closely together, with children/youths aged 13 to 17, as well as a children's department for ages 8 to 13. Isikkivik falls under the Department of Social Affairs, Family, and Justice for neglected children and youths between 8 and 17 years, both girls and boys. The placed children have had a childhood marked by neglect and come from all over Greenland.
The pedagogy at Isikkivik is based on a cognitive, resource-oriented, and appreciative community-oriented approach in a structured environment.
We emphasize that they have a stable everyday life with schooling, internships, work training, leisure interests, and a social life outside the institution. On weekends and holidays, we try to offer the children good experiences in nature in the form of cabin trips, hunting and skiing trips, as well as participating in various events in the city. We also aim to get the young people out for internships/work training at workplaces in the city.

- That you participate in the development of educational and professional development plans in collaboration with the department heads and the educational staff.
- That you are involved in the preparation of treatment plans, status reports, and status letters regarding children and young people as a contact person.
- That you are good at collaborating with colleagues in the workplace.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For an applicant with the right documentable competencies, employment as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor can occur in accordance with the applicable agreement.
Housing
No staff housing is allocated for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the allocated staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
