About the job

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated colleague who can manage procurement and tender processes from start to finish. You will be responsible for:

Planning and execution of tenders in the goods and services sector

·Administration, follow-up, and development of the municipality's contract portfolio

Coordination and control of the municipality's IT licenses as well as relevant IT contracts in collaboration with the responsible professional areas.

·Follow-up on supplier contracts, including ensuring that invoices and settlements are correct and in accordance with the agreements and contract terms made.

·Analysis and optimization of procurement areas

·Advice on procurement and quality assurance of agreements

·Professional sparring with the municipality's various administrations

·Contribute to ensuring the procurement and conclusion of contracts with a focus on economic advantage and quality in collaboration with the department manager for Purchasing.

·Contribute to ensuring that the municipality achieves full value from its supplier contracts and further develops sustainable and responsible procurement.

About you

We are looking for you who:

Has a longer higher education degree

Thrives with responsibility and can manage complex tasks.

·Has experience with procurement, contract management, and negotiation

·Has an understanding of IT and Licensing, but not a requirement

Is analytical, structured, and good at building relationships.

·Has an understanding of economics and an interest in contract follow-up and controlling.

Communicates clearly and can collaborate across disciplines.

·Proficient in Danish and preferably Greenlandic (Greenlandic is an advantage, but not a requirement)

You will be part of a strong professional environment where we ensure sustainable solutions. The position reports to the department head of Procurement. The department of Business, Facility, and Procurement is part of Internal Services, which encompasses a wide range of professional areas.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

A staff housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary accommodation, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid in accordance with the above. The start date is dependent on when a staff housing is available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses for household goods are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
