Treatment Advisor with Deputy Function

Treatment advisor with deputy function for Kuserneq seeks an engaged person to work with vulnerable families with infants and toddlers. The position involves social coordination, documentation responsibility, and shared management responsibility. You will collaborate closely with the team and have your own counseling sessions with families to foster development and security.

Would you like to help create development and stable living conditions for vulnerable families with infants and small children?

Kuserneq is a housing and treatment offer for vulnerable families with infants and small children, where we work holistically on parenting skills, attachment, structure, as well as the personal development of the child and the parents.

We know that change takes time, and that development can only occur in relationships characterized by presence, clarity, and professionalism. We work in a development-oriented and resource-focused manner. This means that we both set demands and establish frameworks, while also focusing on recognizing the family's strengths and resources.

Our vision is to create stable and development-promoting frameworks for families, so that children have a different start in life than the one their parents may have had.

The team:

The team consists of a department head, a treatment advisor/deputy manager, child and adult family counselors, and a psychotherapist.

We are a small, professionally committed team where we work closely together and prioritize sparring, joint reflection, and clear roles. We believe that we succeed best when we support each other and actively use each other's strengths, viewing learning as an ongoing process.

We are looking for a treatment advisor who will also serve as deputy manager and substitute for the leader. The position is central to the organization and combines social professional coordination, internal follow-up, collaboration with other stakeholders, documentation responsibility, and shared management responsibility.

You will also have your own conversation processes with families and actively participate in the treatment work.

You must be able to balance professional clarity with empathy and presence, and have the ability to create a sense of security, both in meetings with families and in collaboration with employees.
