Kitchen Manager / Utoqqaat Illuat Nuuk / Welfare and Labor Market
The Municipality of Sermersooq is seeking a skilled and dedicated trained nutrition assistant for the Kitchen / Utoqqaat Illuat / Welfare and Labor Market, with start date as soon as possible. There is a 3-month probation period.
Utoqqaat Illuat has a total of 46 residents, all of whom are on full board. Additionally, food is provided to pensioners in the city as referred to by the visitation. Thus, the kitchen produces about 125 portions of the day's main meal.
Utoqqaat Illuat has a total of about 70 employees, of which 9 are in the kitchen. The work takes place in a modern large kitchen, which has various aids in the kitchen that offer opportunities for new ideas in cooking.
We prioritize that our cooking experience should be both nutritious and culinary.
The position is a full-time position, and the working hours are usually from 7 AM to 3 PM, with work every other weekend and on some of the year's public holidays.

The content of the position:
We are looking for a trained nutrition assistant, preferably experienced, to work with the dietitian and take on a number of tasks including:

Kitchen manager

Dietitian diet/Special diet

Common food

Food delivery to citizens

Baking and spreading bread

The collaboration to improve major holidays
The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with the kitchen manager, other employees, and our relevant partners.

Criminal record:

Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
