The position is anchored in Sermersooq Business, specifically in Business Services and Entrepreneurship. Our efforts focus on creating better framework conditions for businesses in the Municipality of Sermersooq, with the aim of increasing growth and supporting the creation of more private jobs. Sermersooq Business currently consists of 9 employees, 7 of whom are based in Nuuk. We primarily work either as consultants or project managers, but always as part of a cohesive team.

The position, which is a full-time and newly created role, has personnel reporting to Department Head Kristine Lange Lyberth from Business, Facility, and Procurement in the Administration of Internal Services.
The daily and professional reference will be project manager Susanne Bisgaard Rasmussen.
The position is organizationally placed in Sermersooq Business, but operates in close collaboration with the Leisure and Culture Department, which serves as the house's professional partner in the development of the creative environment.
In the establishment phase, the position is administratively anchored in Sermersooq Erhverv. When the house transitions to full operation, the organizational placement and professional anchoring are expected to be reassessed.
The content of the position:
In the Municipality of Sermersooq, we continue to develop, and therefore we are looking for a passionate individual who prefers a dynamic everyday life and is motivated by juggling many tasks at once. What we are looking for is a service-minded person who is eager to be challenged in working with a variety of tasks, people, and considerations.
As the daily manager, you will be involved in initiating, driving, and developing the artist and entrepreneur house, and you should be able to lead the establishment of the house. The establishment will take place in phases, and you will have significant influence from the practical and operational level to the planning and strategic level. We expect that you, along with us and the upcoming users, will be an active player at all levels, whether it concerns co-creation, development, or operation. You will also be part of a dynamic team that spans widely across business and culture.
The house will be an open and vibrant place where creative forces can meet, test ideas, and create new collaborations across art forms and industries. You will play a central role in shaping the environment, creating activities, and building a community where both artists and entrepreneurs feel at home.
In the establishment phase, your tasks will include:
Practical coordination of the renovation together with professional building consultants.
·Coordinating team meetings with the department
Marketing of the house and its activities
Gather knowledge about users' preferences and needs and align these with the project proposal.
·General and strong project management
In the operational and development phase, your tasks will include:
·Administrative daily management and operations – with the users at the center, we expect the house to be run through a creative and active chaos, where operations and development go hand in hand in close collaboration with the users.
Ensure progress so that the house develops and gradually accommodates more activities and facilities.
Planning and execution of the house's events and engagements
Development, administration, and coordination of users' access to and use of the house's facilities.
·Be involved and take responsibility for creating a vibrant creative entrepreneurial environment that users grow in and want to be a part of.

Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As the position is newly created, you will be met with high expectations, but also a lot of trust. As the job develops in line with the artist and entrepreneur house, your entry into the role will likely be marked by some bumps along the way. We emphasize being able to support you in this process and ensuring a good collaborative climate with close managerial guidance as well as room for initiative and creativity.
Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
