Queen Ingrid's Hospital is looking for a Piccoline for the Maternity Department, who will assist the midwives with practical tasks and interpretation between Danish and Greenlandic. The Maternity Department at Queen Ingrid's Hospital is looking for a Piccoline with interpreting function in a full-time position
As a Piccoline with interpreting function in the Maternity Department, you will assist the midwives with practical tasks in the department as well as interpretation between Danish and Greenlandic. You will receive relevant training in the tasks. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
We offer:
A varied everyday life with handling different practical tasks in the Maternity Department, such as
- Ordering supplies and linens, as well as putting them in place
- Packing sterile items and retrieving them
- Restocking delivery rooms after births and checking the delivery rooms daily
- Restocking consultation rooms, scanning rooms, and the reception room
- Sending SMS messages to patients
- Scanning documents for the Electronic Patient Journal System, Cosmic
- Copying/printing brochures etc.
- Interpreting for the midwives in the Maternity Department
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic and quick to learn
- Works independently
- Is reliable
- Is service-minded and approachable
- Is bilingual in Greenlandic/Danish – and will interpret both orally and in writing
- Values collegial and social skills highly
- Has good IT skills

Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, according to the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of employment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
