We are looking for a public health nurse for a temporary position in Aasiaat from November 15, 2026, or January 1, 2027. The position involves working with infants and vulnerable families, as well as collaborating with health care assistants. A good introduction and a respectful working environment are offered.

We offer:

We are looking for a health visitor who:

  • Wants professional challenges and time for children and families
  • Wants and can work across the spectrum from infant visits in the family to school health examinations for 9th-grade students
  • Wants to participate in the work with vulnerable families through "Early Intervention"
  • Can provide professional support to the region's health care assistants
  • Wants to travel out into the region and provide health care in the region's small towns and settlements

About us:

  • The health care in the Disko region is staffed by one health visitor and three health care assistants. An interpreter will be available if needed.
  • We strive for a daily routine with respectful and appreciative collaboration
  • Aasiaat is located in the Disko Region in Northwest Greenland.
  • The region also includes three towns and seven settlements. The health system consists of the hospital in Aasiaat, health centers in Qasigiannguit and Qeqertarsuaq, the nursing station in Kangaatsiaq, and health clinics in the settlements.
  • Your future management will be visible and can also be used as a sparring partner. We share a good working environment and focus on improving it through an active working environment group.

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
