How HireMe collects, uses and protects your personal data — and the control you have over it.
What we collect
Your account details (name and contact information), the profile and CV you choose to add, and the jobs you apply to. We record your consents with a timestamp for accountability.
How we use it
To run your account and your applications and — only if you opt in — to let verified employers find you in candidate search, or to send you occasional updates. You choose these in your account settings, and they are off by default.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active. Inactive accounts are warned and then deleted, and you can delete yours at any time. Employers keep anonymised records of applications you already sent.
External services
To display and protect the platform, some features load content from external services, which therefore receive technical information such as your IP address when the feature loads. The map on a job posting uses map tiles from CARTO. Our forms are protected against abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. On the public site we also use analytics and advertising tools to measure usage and show ads. Each service receives only what is necessary to provide that feature.
Your rights
You can download all of your data, withdraw any consent, or permanently delete your account — directly from your account settings.
