About the company

At the Greenlandic Health Service, we work to ensure that people throughout Greenland receive safe and professionally strong treatment – regardless of whether they live in Nuuk or in one of the smaller towns and settlements along the coast. We operate both Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk and a network of regional hospitals and health centers, where daily life ranges from acute cases to prevention and long-term follow-up.

What characterizes us is the breadth and proximity. You will have the opportunity to use your expertise in a daily life where collaboration across disciplines is crucial, and where you often come close to both patients and colleagues. We tackle tasks together – from clinic and care to administration, HR, communication, finance, technology, and IT – because the healthcare system only works when all parts function together.

As a workplace, it means a lot to us that you feel welcomed. Many come here to take on new challenges, and we know that the framework around work, sparring, and good camaraderie makes a big difference – especially when working far from what you know.

Whether you are a nurse, midwife, doctor, or work with public health and support functions, you will become part of a community where responsibility and meaning go hand in hand, and where your efforts can be felt directly in people's lives.
