Educated Educator or Social Assistant in the Nursery "Viivi" Narsaq.

Future Educator or Social Assistant can start December 1, 2026 or by further agreement.

The nursery institution “Viivi” has a facility for 48 places for children aged 0-3. In total, there are 16 employees, one of whom is a leader. And these are distributed into 4 sections: 

There are 2 nursery institutions in Narsaq. And there is a good collaborative leadership team. And they appreciate helping each other when needed.

Narsaq is a peaceful, educational, and beautiful town. Throughout the year, various activities are held.

We expect the educator to have the following tasks in their section:

·Stable

·Can maintain an overview as a whole 

·Someone who can see the needs of children

·Has good collaboration skills towards users

·Honest

·Someone who can adapt well

·Initiative-rich

·Has skills in using a computer but not a requirement.

Child Certificate:

This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has obtained a child certificate.

The child certificate will be included in the municipality's assessment of who should be employed in the position

Salary and employment conditions according to the agreement between the Greenlandic Government and NPK for educational staff employed in nursery institutions in Greenland.

Housing can be provided, for which rent and deposit are paid according to applicable rules, as well as travel and relocation costs are covered by the municipality according to the rules in force at any time.
