Pilersitsivik offers non-academic programs for young people aged 16-29, focusing on personal development for those not yet ready for academic courses or entering the workforce. Work and Responsibilities: • Leadership, coordination, and development at Pilersitsivik. • Handle administrative and educational tasks in collaboration with the center manager. • Understand the organization of work at Pilersitsivik. • Motivate and support young people to return to educational programs or move forward in their careers. • Manage the activation of young people in various workshop subjects. • Guide users at Pilersitsivik. • Support and inspire young people towards a healthy and active lifestyle. Our future leader must ensure, in collaboration with colleagues, that young people develop primarily personally during their programs, bringing them closer to achieving their personal goals. This can only happen through close dialogue with users and setting intermediate goals together. Qualifications: • Leadership experience, ability to take on responsibilities and task distribution. • Experience with administrative work, preferably ERP systems or similar. • Stable, organized, calm under pressure, and able to maintain an overview. • Able to work independently and interdisciplinarily, skilled at multitasking. • Preferably experience with educational work or a pedagogical educational background. • Patient, goal-oriented, and results-seeking. • Collaborative and approachable nature. • Ability to teach others. • Experience, both private and professional, enabling you to identify and communicate with young people in a friendly, firm, and trustworthy manner. • Bilingualism is an advantage. Salary and employment terms: Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the current agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the relevant negotiating organization. Housing can be provided, for which payment is made according to current regulations. Child certificate: The position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has obtained a child certificate. Therefore, we must note that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police. Commencement on February 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
