Work and areas of responsibility:
You will be jointly responsible for following the Inatsisartut Law No. 16 of December 3, 2012, on pedagogical development offers for preschool children, as well as working based on guidelines that can be found on the Qeqqata Municipality website regarding Qeqqata Municipality's political visions, children and youth policy, and educational objectives.
The position is a full-time job with 40 hours per week. There is space for 44 children, divided into 20 kindergarten children and 24 nursery children.
The opening hours for the kindergarten are Monday – Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM.
The distribution of work and responsibilities of the staff group is a total of 15 positions.

Salary and employment conditions:
Housing can be allocated to educators but not to social workers.
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Greenlandic municipalities and SIK, NPK.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Criminal and Child Certificate:
This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.
