About the institution:
Sikkersoq is an integrated institution with 64 children divided into 4 rooms, 24 toddlers and 40 preschoolers. The staffing ratio is 3 employees for each room. The institution is located in Nuussuaq close to Kangillinguup Atuarfia and in a quiet environment. There are 40 weekly working hours with varying working hours. Sikkersoq is open during the daytime from 07:00 to 17:00.
The department currently consists of 14 employees: Leader, Deputy Leader, 3 educators, assistants, kitchen assistant, and a floater.
The position, which is a full-time position, reports to the Head of the Institution in Sikkersoq.
Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police as well as the criminal record from the police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Greenland Self-Government, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of appointment between the Greenland Self-Government and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
No staff housing can be provided for the position.
