Employment: May 1, 2026, or by agreement
Would you like to help make a difference for young girls who need safe adults around them?
At Angerlarsimaffik Pilutaq in Sisimiut, we are looking for educators who are passionate about relationship work and who want to create stability, presence, and good experiences in everyday life for our girls aged 11 to 17.
About us
Pilutaq is a nationwide residential institution under the Department of Social Affairs, Family, and the Justice Area.
Here live girls aged 11–17, each carrying their own story. Some have experienced neglect, and many need adults who dare to be both clear, stable, and present.
Our educational approach is cognitive, resource-oriented, and appreciative in a structured and homely environment.
We operate on the premise that relationships and trust are the keys to development – and that safety, humor, and care can create change.
Everyday life at Pilutaq includes both fixed routines and good experiences. We emphasize that the girls have a stable everyday life with schooling, leisure interests, and an active social life in the city.
On weekends and holidays, we go on cabin and ski trips, hunting trips, and colony stays in the villages, where nature becomes a part of the educational work.
