About the kindergarten:
The nursery Ungaavaraq has space for 48 children divided into 4 groups. The staff ratio is 15 and is distributed as follows: leader, deputy leader, 3 educators, 4 social workers, 4 assistants, 1 cleaning assistant, and 1 kitchen assistant.
The nursery opened on November 1, 2010.
The nursery's opening hours are between 07:00 - 17:00 and are located in the urban area of Qapiarfiusaaq, Nuuk.

Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
