Janitor

Majoriaq Sisimiut is looking for a janitor with craftsmanship experience to take care of Majoriaq's buildings as well as our dormitories. It is a position that involves close collaboration with colleagues across departments, as you will be servicing colleagues and dormitory residents.

Work and Areas of Responsibility:

• Supervision and minor repairs of Majoriaq's buildings
• Pickup of shipments and packages
• Cleanup/snow removal in and around the buildings of Majoriaq.
• Transportation of staff on duty
• College duty on rotation

Qualifications:

• You are stable, organized, good at staying calm in stressful situations, and able to maintain an overview.
• You should be able to work independently and be good at juggling many tasks at once.
• We would like you to be bilingual, Greenlandic and Danish.
• Be accustomed to using IT, preferably with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Can work independently and is solution-oriented.
• Has a driver's license

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing cannot be provided.

Commencement on June 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.
