The Administration for Families in Avannaata Municipality is seeking 2 supervisors for the supervision of caseworkers for children and youth. The Administration for Families in Avannaata Municipality is seeking 2 supervisors to start on July 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
The supervisor will work with the supervision of caseworkers for children and youth under the Family Department in Avannaata Municipality, including staff at the family house and youth center, and not least foster families. It is therefore desirable and important that the person has experience in this field or is professionally trained. The supervisor reports directly to the Head of Children and Youth under the Administration.
Educational background:
·Educated psychologist, social worker, or similar.
Certified supervisor
Work and responsibilities will include:
·Supervision of individual employees or groups of employees
·Report writing
Guidance for foster families
Tasks related to employee well-being
·Close collaboration with local leaders and coordinators
·Advising conflicting parties
Participate in trips to cities in the Avannaata municipality in connection with supervision work.

Salary and employment conditions
Employment is based on an agreement between the Government of Greenland and the applicant's negotiating organization.
Housing can be allocated for which rent, deposit, etc. is paid according to the applicable rules at any given time.
