Avannaata Municipality is seeking a cooperative and open Emergency Inspector, located in Ilulissat. The position is to be filled as soon as possible or by agreement.
Here are some of your responsibilities:
To lead the emergency response work in Ilulissat and the settlements.
To lead the fire department
·Responsibility for the budget at the fire station
·Follow-up on emergency plans at the locations
Responsibility for the basic education programs at the locations
Brand investigations
Maintenance of the fire stations' equipment and buildings
Prevention projects for the city's and villages' citizens.
To ensure the work is done in an effective manner and with impact, as well as to secure other matters in a safe way.
·Anet miscellaneous work.
We would like you to be trained in:
·Trained Incident Commander (City/air) and further education in fire investigations
To encourage respect for working with preparedness as personal development.
To be able to collaborate reliably at all levels of the administration.
To be able to set the course to gather from different administrations

Salary and employment conditions:
