Sungiusarfik Aaqa is seeking a dedicated health assistant for a nationwide social institution with 6 departments. The workplace offers supervision, employee development talks, and courses. The residents are diagnosed with schizophrenia. The position requires a robust psyche, humor, and tolerance. Weekly working hours are 40, and no staff housing is provided.
Health assistant or similar for Sungiusarfik Aaqa Sungiusarfik Aaqa is a nationwide social institution with 6 departments. 5 departments with a total of 30 residents and 1 activity center for 15 users. The residents have a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Aaqa is a workplace in development. There is an opportunity for supervision, employee development conversations, and relevant courses.
We are looking for an engaged colleague, health assistant or similar, who will actively participate in the daily tasks at Aaqa.
Once a year, there is a psychiatric course for all staff lasting 2-3 days. Aaqa has its own conflict management instructors who teach the rest of the staff approximately every 3 months. In addition, some training is arranged by Aaqa.
The health assistant reports to the department manager.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon the termination of the employment relationship.
