Inulerivik, National Therapy and Counseling Center is seeking a temporary employee for the position of Development Consultant. The role involves working with data, analysis, coordination, and project work. The consultant will play a central role in collaboration with external partners and management, as well as developing referral procedures and cooperation agreements.
INULERIVIK, National Therapy and Counseling Center is seeking a temporary position for the role of development consultant. If you are passionate about making a difference for citizens experiencing mental distress, you can now be part of the development and establishment of Inulerivik.
We are looking for a substitute for the position of development consultant from March 1, 2026, until March 1, 2027, who has competencies in data, analysis, coordination, and project work – the substitute position is anchored in Inulerivik, National Therapy and Counseling Center.
The center has, among other things, direct citizen contact in the form of therapeutic treatment, while closely collaborating with social workers in the municipalities along the coast. Psychological and therapeutic services in Inulerivik include; the adult area that treats adults experiencing mental distress, the children's area, Qinngorneq, and Klinik Killiliisa, where individuals with sexually abusive behavior towards children and young people or thoughts thereof have the opportunity for treatment.
The tasks include close collaboration and dialogue with colleagues in the new center, the Department for Children and Youth, the management of the Social Agency, and other relevant departments. In addition, the consultant will play a central role in collaborating with future external partners and their management. Therefore, the consultant may be responsible for the internal development and coordination of the center, as well as communication across relevant partners, the political level, and other stakeholders.

Concrete tasks in the position: Develop referral procedures and guidelines in collaboration with relevant sectors

Be involved in developing and creating new and/or customized concepts.

Plan and execute evaluation and monitoring of the center's establishment phase.

The practical
The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and is located at our treatment center in Nuuk. Some travel activity can be expected in connection with the position. The position is temporary until the end of 2026, possibly with the option for extension.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
