Purpose
Ivaneq's purpose is to offer a safe, homely, and structured care environment with stable and accommodating adults who take responsibility for the children's well-being, development, and learning. The children should feel that they are seen, heard, and included in the social community. The primary and secondary educators play a key role as a safe and secure haven for the child. Other key concepts in the initiatives and collaboration at Ivaneq are recognition, decency, responsibility, and professionalism.
Collaborative relationships beyond the Social Authority and the municipalities
Ivaneq emphasizes maintaining a good collaboration with the local schools as well as the healthcare system and the police. There is also collaboration with external psychologists regarding teaching and supervision.
