Disability and Social Psychiatry is seeking a team leader for the Qinngorput Housing Unit in Nuuk. You will work closely with operations and contribute to management and quality in task resolution. The housing unit accommodates 21 residents with mental disabilities. You will be part of a team of about 20 employees and report to the leader of the Qinngorput Housing Unit.
Disability and Social Psychiatry – Housing Unit Qinngorput
Disability and Social Psychiatry is looking for a team leader with cross-functional tasks who is eager to work closely with operations and contribute to strengthening leadership, coherence, and quality in task resolution – primarily affiliated with the Housing Unit Qinngorput.
The housing unit Qinngorput is one of our larger housing units in Nuuk. In the housing unit, there are 21 residents with mental disabilities, most of whom also have substance abuse-related challenges. The residents have their own apartments and use the unit's two shared apartments to cook and eat together, as well as for social interaction. Our core task is to help the residents develop their mental, social, and practical skills so that they can live as independently as possible. You will work with your management team and your staff to support the residents in living a good and meaningful life as they wish. You will be part of a staff group of about 20 employees who are either pedagogically or health professionally trained or unskilled.
You report administratively to the manager of the Boenhed Qinngorput and engage in close collaboration with both the deputy manager, managerial colleagues, and the department head.
About the position
As a team leader with cross-functional tasks, you will play a central role in supporting the daily management and operations in Qinngorput, as well as contributing with experience and guidance across the department. The position is characterized by a high degree of practical leadership combined with selected cross-functional tasks.
The position is primarily organized in such a way that:

Approximately four working days a week are spent on management and operational tasks in the Boenheden Qinngorput.

Approximately one working day a week is used for cross-cutting tasks and selected projects in the department.
The specific task portfolio can be continuously adjusted in dialogue with the immediate supervisor.

Support the daily management and operation in the Housing Unit Qinngorput.

Be a visible and accessible management resource for employees.

Contribute to structure, overview, and follow-up in a large and complex residential unit.

Perform cross-functional tasks in the department, such as operational visits and selected cross-functional tasks and projects in Disability and Social Psychiatry.

About us
Disability and Social Psychiatry consists of eight residential units, five housing collectives, two activity and socializing offers, one respite care service, a competency development center, and three support teams distributed in Nuuk, Tasiilaq, and Paamiut. We work purposefully to strengthen leadership, professionalism, and collaboration – both locally and across regions.
We expect to hold job interviews on Wednesday in week 8.
Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law requiring a criminal record check. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
