A job where you primarily work with general medicine in the outpatient clinic. Additionally, you admit patients, conduct ward rounds, and most frequently treat infectious disease and psychiatric patients. Furthermore, patients are transferred for further specialized treatment at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk.

Small surgical procedures are performed once a week in the morning, but it is not expected that you have surgical skills.

About us:
Sisimiut Regional Hospital is part of the Qeqqa Region. We have 3 associated settlements: Kangerlussuaq, Itilleq, and Sarfannguaq, and a total of about 73 employees. Sisimiut is Greenland's second-largest city, and we serve approximately 6,000 residents. We have a total of 5 doctors.
The regional hospital has a well-functioning outpatient clinic as well as an emergency room and a ward that accommodates 19 hospitalized patients of all ages and with various patterns of illness.
There is daily access to the laboratory, X-ray, and ultrasound. In addition, we offer somatic/psychiatric home care, health care, maternity care, physiotherapy, venereal and contraception clinic, as well as nursing consultation, operating room, and pharmacy.
