Ungaannguaq is seeking an educator and a department leader in Sisimiut. Work and areas of responsibility:
You are to be jointly responsible for following the Inatsisartut Act No. 16 of December 3, 2012, on pedagogical development offers for preschool children, as well as working according to guidelines that can be found on the Qeqqata Municipality website regarding Qeqqata Municipality's political visions, children and youth policy, and pedagogical objectives.
The position is a full-time job with 40 hours a week. There is room for 44 children, divided into 20 preschoolers and 24 toddlers.
The opening hours for the kindergarten are Monday – Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM.
The distribution of work and responsibility of the staff group is a total of 15 positions.

Salary and employment conditions:
Housing can be allocated to educators but not to social workers.
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Greenlandic municipalities and SIK, NPK.

Criminal and Child Certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police, as well as the criminal certificate from the police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
