The community pharmacy is seeking pharmacist technicians for an exciting workplace in Nuuk, where the hospital pharmacy and primary pharmacy are combined. Tasks include counter service, medication counseling, medication service, and logistics. We are looking for a communicative, responsible, and service-oriented person with an aptitude for IT. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
We offer a unique and exciting position where you should love your profession, be creative in your problem-solving, and have a can-do attitude.
The municipal pharmacy is looking for pharmacists starting from June 1, 2026 – and on an ongoing basis – for an exciting workplace where the hospital pharmacy and primary pharmacy are housed under one roof.
We are looking for colleagues who are interested in professional discussions with healthcare personnel and have a flair for logistics and IT.
In Greenland, all prescription medication is free. Therefore, you do not need to spend time on discussions about subsidies, beauty products, or over-the-counter sales – the contact with citizens is about medication, not money.
On the other hand, you must ensure that recommendations and standard assortments are adhered to in health centers and regional hospitals. The position offers opportunities for personal development, where counter service and operations are primary areas of work.
Your tasks as a pharmacy technician may include:
-
Counter service
-
Advice on medication for citizens and professionals
-
Medicine service – top-up service and dialogue about maintaining the range
-
Drug supplies to the rest of the country (vaccines, hospital-specific medications, medicine for specialist visits)
-
Logistics – orders and receipts to and from the coast
We are looking for a pharmacy technician who:
-
Puts communication at the center – both independently and in a team
-
Has good communication skills and is strong in human contact.
-
Has the expertise to convey knowledge about medications.
-
Is responsible and has situational awareness
-
Is customer and service-oriented
-
Is adaptable and has the drive to take on new challenges.
-
Has a flair for IT (we use Dynamics Apovision and Cosmic)
-
Is solution-oriented – even when the solutions are unconventional
-
Contributes to the solution of the department's overall tasks
We offer:
-
A good and social workplace with a focus on well-being – both during working hours and in private life.
-
A workday with varied tasks and new challenges
-
Solid training with a focus on professional development
-
Fixed working hours Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM – no weekend work
-
The working language is Danish.
