Steno Diabetes Center Greenland (SDCG) is looking for 1-2 specialist consultants who can help support the center management, maintain an overview, and participate in various development projects.
You will become part of the center's staff, which, together with the center management, is responsible for ensuring that the center is operated and developed in accordance with the script and the funding agreement for SDCG, as well as supporting and developing various core tasks within: Finance, treatment and patient education, research, cross-functional collaboration, competence development, telemedicine, and quality.
It is important that you can collaborate with many different colleagues and professional groups, as you will get to know all areas of the center, enabling you to form a comprehensive overview of the center's activities. Your collaboration skills and overall understanding are essential for supporting the center management in the progress of the center as well as assisting in the reporting for the board's quarterly meetings.
The position requires versatility and a willingness to tackle a wide range of tasks. There are several fixed tasks such as management support, financial planning and reporting, communication, planning and facilitating events, research support, development of new initiatives, etc., but there is also the opportunity to influence the content of the position according to interests and qualifications. You do not need to have knowledge of all the tasks, but it is important that you are open and curious to learn.

Steno Diabetes Center Greenland opened on July 1, 2020, as an integrated part of the healthcare system in Greenland and is jointly funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Government of Greenland.

The vision is to improve health and quality of life for individuals with diabetes and lifestyle-related diseases such as high blood pressure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
